Wait—what's a zine?

Short for magazine, a zine is a self-published, usually handmade booklet with a small circulation and a lot of heart. Teeny Zeeny is hand-drawn, sent out for printing, then individually assembled. Check out this brief making-of video!

Zines have a fascinating history, from Harlem to sci-fi to punk to riot grrl. Teeny Zeeny is honored to be in the Sophia Smith Collection of Women's History zine archive at Smith College, selected as an example of women authors writing for young audiences.
